March 23 - April 22, 2023

DIMIN is extremely excited to open March 23rd with its inaugural exhibition “Cycles” – exploring the ebbs and flows of human existence from procreation to decomposition.

Despite the fragility of the human body, much of the work brims with whimsy and pleasure; from simple moments of leisure to entangled orgies. Alongside this joy, the exhibition presents darker experiences of alienation, anxiety, and feelings of otherness. The mundane is presented next to interpretations into the realm of the fantastical, the psyche, and the afterlife. However, most artwork lives in the middle; focusing on lived experiences, striving to establish meaningful connections before meeting the inevitable fate.

“Cycles” presents the work of sixteen artists at varying points in their careers, currently working in the United States. Artists include Christian Ruiz Berman, Michael Berryhill, Chase Biado, Soojin Choi, Emily Marie Miller Coan, Kendrick Corp, Erik Dalzen, Samantha Joy Groff, Whit Harris, Julie Henson, Annie Hemond Hotte, Anna Sofie Jespersen, Melissa Joseph, BA Thomas, Destiny Haven Trujillo, and Ryan Wilde.

Please join us for an Opening Reception Thursday, March 23rd from 6 to 8 pm.

DIMIN is located in Tribeca at 406 Broadway, Fl. 2, New York, NY. DIMIN will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 6pm.
